    Plaquenil is ruining my life immunotherapy You had hives and dr gave you plaquenil for it? An allergist? I am 100% sure that Dr. is insane if that's what you were actually given It is entirely possible to have an allergic reaction to the first dose of plaquenil - or any med- but highly unlikely to cause the types of symptoms you describe.
