  4. Apr 30, 2018 I haven't done research of course. My rheum put me on Plaquenil because I have such pain in my small joints in my hands. But hypermobility alone can cause that. However my fatigue and all my symptoms always look like Lupus/RA without the positive blood tests. Supposedly it can take months for Plaquenil to take effect. I'm not sure if it has.
